On Day Three of our Spanish sight-seeing, me and Sarah jumped on a train from Barcelona and headed to Sitges.
Sitges was BEAUTIFUL. There were lovely sandy beaches, quaint streets (even the street signs were lovely!) winding alleys, and a BIG palace that lit up at night like a giant Disney castle. As if all of that wasn't enough, we also happened across a wine festival that was in town for just two days (FATE...) and two of the nicest people we've ever met at said wine festival, Andy and Sally :o)
This has to have been one of THE nicest days. I think we're just going to have to go back I'm afraid :o) Thanks so much A & S for showing us around and sharing your day with us! It was an absolute treat!
SO Sitges... :o) (This was NOT fancy dress, repeat, this was NOT fancy dress...)
Mega doorknob... I might have to get one of these bad boys for home.
Just happened to catch these two at the perfect moment... I wonder if they planned to wear matching couples' outfits or it was just a happy coincidence? :o) Either way, it worked for my photo - I thank you for your symmetry kind couple.
A seat in the middle of the staircase! I mean, yeah, why not?! :o)
What an AMAZING day! :o) We just about made the last train home, and spent the next two days finding Sitges sand all over the apartment.
WORTH IT.
