Pottery Painting Cafe is... well, exactly what it says on the tin. It's a pottery painting haven on North Road, where you can choose from over 200 ceramic pieces to design and decorate! I met M2 and her two little cherubs there on Saturday, to "help" them with their masterpieces (they needed no help - these kids are creative geniuses!) M2 and I sat back with teas and coffees, and let them be.
The pots / pans / plates are glazed and fired for you, ready to pick up later on in the week.
It was a lovely little day. The studio fee is £5 per person, and most pottery costs between £10 - £20. The staff there were super friendly, too. Not a bad idea for when you're feeling particularly artistic, and fancy a cake and cup of Earl Grey on the side. For contact details, click here.
